thoughts: I am really learning a lot
of facts (some I didn’t know, and some I did) in our Wednesday study of the Book
of Daniel. I looked at the US
National Debt Clock and as of Wednesday the staggering amount was: Are you
ready? $12,413,125,121,320.27. The
number“12” represents $12 Trillion dollars. This is unbelievable! And if you
watch the National Debt Clock, it increases
constantly. The estimated population of
the $40,315.44. The national
debt has continued to Increase an average of $3.87
billion per day since Of course by the time you
read this it will have changed. To top this off this morning
on Fox News they reported that 2. Laugh
a little Smith goes to see his
supervisor in the front office. “Boss,” he says, “we’re doing some heavy
housecleaning at home tomorrow, and my wife needs me to help with the attic and
the garage, moving and hauling stuff.” “We’re short-handed, Smith,”
the boss replies. “I can’t give you the day off.” “Thanks, boss,” says Smith.
“I knew I could count on you!” Aunt Aggie was distressed
when she lost her handbag in a shopping center recently. An honest young man
had found it and returned it to her. “Funny,” Aggie commented. “When I
misplaced the bag there was a ten-dollar bill in it. Now I find ten one-dollar
bills.” “That’s right lady,” explained the honest young man. “The last time I
found a lady’s purse, she didn’t have any change for a
reward.” Eight-year-old Molly brought
her report card home from school. Her marks were good, but her teacher had
written across the bottom: “Molly is a smart little girl, but she has one fault.
She talks too much in school. I have an idea I am going to try, which I think
may break her of the habit.” Molly’s dad signed her report card, putting a note
on the back: “Please let me know if your idea works on Molly. If it does work, I
would like to try it out on her mother.” 3.
